Tomas Rekem is a much disciplined person who takes his job seriously. Currently he works in accounts receivable’s where he must perform a variety of duties. One of the most important is to review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. He must handle the sorting and distribution of all incoming mail and then process 3 way P.O. matching invoices.
People working in accounts receiving and payables need to be very organized because they are handling check request processing, audit and process credit card bills and then match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly. They are basically the go between for all payments and incoming funds for a business.
Besides working with payments, people working in this position need to handle the vendor. This can consist of answering inquiries, reconciling vendor statements, and researching and correcting discrepancies. Accounts receivable and payable departments must also be sure to keep up-to-date logs and file things in an efficient manner.
Tomas Rekem has always been a hard worker. He believes in being a team player and takes his job seriously. He is highly-organized and makes sure to always document his steps. He likes working with people, but can also work behind the scenes in accounting positions. He grew up knowing the value of earning your way in life. His family tried to instill good moral and social values within him while growing up.
